Dr. Saloni Krishnan

After qualifying as a speech and language therapist in India, I completed an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of London. For a brief while after this, I worked as a speech and language therapist (in Dubai). I then pursued a PhD at the University of London with Professors Fred Dick and Annette Karmiloff-Smith, examining neural and behavioural changes in speech and language networks relating to learning and development. After my PhD, I held postdoctoral positions with Professor Sophie Scott (Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, UCL), and Professors Dorothy Bishop and Kate Watkins (Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford). At Oxford, I also held two college positions – a Junior Research Fellowship at Corpus Christi College and a stipendiary lectureship at Lady Margaret Hall. I am now a lecturer (assistant professor) at Royal Holloway, which is part of the University of London.
